The City of Orange Brass Band kick off their summer program of free Sunday recitals with a special Orange Youth Arts Festival recital featuring music
themes that children love and will connect with. So bring the children and a picnic and enjoy the wonderful surroundings of our city’s beautiful Cook Park and the wonderful sound of brass!

 

The Cook Park Sunday recitals have been part of the band’s performance program for many years – most probably as far back as 1908 when the current band’s forerunner band, Orange Town Band, donated the Cook Park band rotunda to the community. It was the centenary celebration of the rotunda that saw the first Brass Celebration weekend of brass band music in 2008.
