Orange Masala is an all-inclusive event celebrating cultural diversity through the expression of music, food, performance and art with a specific focus on Youth Mental Health and community wellbeing. The event provides a unique opportunity to celebrate the richness and diversity of cultures that make up our community, while offering a significant means for cultural engagement and awareness for our youth.

 

Festivities include a range of performances and activities including cultural dance, song, drumming and a delectable mix of cultural foods from various countries including India, Nepal, Indonesia, Pakistan, China and the Philippines.

 

Orange Masala also features an extensive wellbeing program enabling visitors to treat themselves to a number of healthy activities including Meditation, Tai Chi, African Hair Braiding, Henna Hand Painting, Calligraphy, Yoga and much more. The event also includes artisan market stalls and a variety of games and creative activities including French Cricket, Three-legged contests, Frisbee, Mini Golf, Spoon and Sack races and a host of other fun activities for young people to engage in.

Orange Masala is an Orange Youth Arts Festival event presented by the Orange CultureHub Inc. in partnership with Community Connect Central West, headspace and Orange City Council.
